The Hotel on Rivington is a premier destination in the revitalized Lower East Side. The hotel is an urban oasis with spacious accommodations that are unrivaled in New York City, as well as a sleek modern design and stunning skyline views. After nearly 15 years, HOR needed a creative partner who could simultaneously provide both guidance and vision for new opportunities among changing consumer segments and lifestyle trends. From branding to print, to digital to collateral, MHCG envisioned a core organizing strategy to maximize the legacy of the hotel. This strategy included targets and segments where it leveraged strongly, all while giving loyal customers differentiated options for their travel needs. We also identified opportunities to give HOR a new array of pioneer experiences and uncover new audiences in an increasingly competitive market.
MHCG designers created a series of principles that informed every part of the hotel’s next-generation experience—things like a to-go concept for breakfast and online check-in experience to a hotel with a high-touch, well-designed user experience.
